Nano, Here I Come!

So the hustle of Halloween is over (and I'm hopped up on reeses cups, skittles, and york mints) and tomorrow is the first day of Nano. What is your goal for the first day? For the first week, for that matter? I've decided on 1K a day. If I fall behind, I have to make it up by the end of the week. If I'm ahead, I still have to write 1K a day. That way, I at least get to 30K for the month! Thanks to all who voted in my title suckage poll (which concluded that, yes, I do suck at titles!) I'm going into this WIP Untitled but still in love!

You Nanoing? Buddy me! ChristaCarol on NaNoWriMo site. Goodnight, and Good luck!

Oh, and for fairy-loving pleasure, I leave you with the Fairy Court of the Jones' household (baby had wings ironed on the back of her onsie):

  1. My goal is to finish the WIP I've been working on. By my estimation, I have about 30,000 to 35,000 words left to go, so that SHOULD be a month's work.

    I'm not holding out hope.

  2. You go, Nano! I am in the trenches, too!

Great Halloween pic. Both my girls were fairies, too. :)

  3. Could luck, colavito and Matt! Yes, fairies were a popular theme this year. ;)

  4. Aw, you have such a cute fairy court! Looks like a very fun Halloween for you gals :)

My NaNo goal is to just write. I'll attempt the 1k-ish a day needed to get to the 50k by month's end, but if I at least write SOMETHING each day, I'll be satisfied.

  5. Yay for NaNo!

My goal is to write at least something every day and 50K+ by the end of the month. My mom and sister and a few other are reading as a I write (the beauty of Google Docs) and I know my sister won't let me slack off...

I'm GatorSarah on the site. If I don't know your screen name, just send me a message so I know who you are.

  6. YAY for NanO!

I'm writing my new one, a mystery, and rewriting an old one as well.

And that picture is TOO ADORABLE!

  7. OK, I was obviously tired writing "could luck" in my previous comment. Um, you know what I meant, right? Cause that's what I was thinking, not typing.

Thanks everyone and GOOD luck! :) Going to my first "in-house" writing group tomorrow at a bakery shop, excited!
