And the Winner is . . .

I can't help but show off my darling, chubby legged 10 month old and her First Christmas picture. She's doing her part in the tree decorating!

The winner announcement has been due, and I apologize for making you wait. I didn't do a vlog of it this time due to the fact everyone in my house is asleep but me (and I don't do self vlogging very well).

Before I announce the winner, I shall share with you MY favorite holiday story (which was the whole jist of the contest):

It was the Christmas of '88 (I uh, think) and I was staying with my cousin in Colorado. I was around 8 or so, and it was a full house. Me, her, my aunt, uncle, grandpa, mom and dad, maybe someone else. Anyway, so cous and I were sleeping in her parents room on the floor in sleeping bags. We were the only kids, hence the only ones actually going to bed. But are you kidding? We couldn't sleep! It was Christmas Eve!

So we talked. And then, lo and behold, a red light glows from the side of her parents bedroom window. We gasp. It's Rudolph! It has to be Rudolph! We scramble out of bed, sprint into her living room and holler over our parents telling us to go back to sleep. We rush to the living room window to see if we can see Santa taking off. And do you know what we saw? I swear to this day, a little red light in the sky, way way up high, flying away.

The next morning, we woke up a few hours into it, and when the sun was up, ran outside and sure enough, there were hoof-prints! Sure, I may be nearing 30 (OMG 1/2 a year left!) but I swear to this day, that couldn't have been a hoax. Everyone was in the apartment. Sure, the logical side of me said I could've missed someone in the excitement, or a neighbor could've played a hoax, but I don't think I can ever not believe what I saw that night.

And now, to announce our winner of a $10 Old Navy or Bath & Body Works gift card . . . .

SarahNFisk! Please e-mail me your shipping information to christacarol_jones (at) yahoo (dot) com. Congrats!

Whatever holiday you celebrate, I hope it's a memorable, magical one, full of love, laughter and lots of joy!
