Just got back from seeing this awesome movie. I had no idea what it was about or really even saw a full movie trailer (just a glimpse once). Which, to be honest, is good for me. Sometimes I get high expectations with things. This could be why I loved it so much, but seriously people, the effects didn't seem like effects. I was totally there in the world, the plants, the animals, the people, everything. The story is nothing too original, but it was done splendidly. And I probably only predicted most of the stuff because I read lots of books and watch lots of movies, so the pattern of plots/knowing when you read/see something there's always a reason for it makes things stick out when I see them.

But still. So awesome. I'm buying this sucker when it comes out on DVD (if only they could make DVDs 3D, how could would that be? One day, I'm sure).

That's all I wanted to say. Oh, and I want to share the two cook books I've been loving for the past month. Will do that in the next blog. Until next week!

  1. Maybe it's just me, but all computer generated animation that tries to be real looks terrible. I don't buy it for a minute.
