Feel free to give me a shout out on whether I should do this again or not. I don't want to put up stuff that people have no interest in.
This Friday's Feeding the Muse Recipe (which I'm classifying as fairly healthy--it got fruit and oats!):
Oatmeal Cranberry White Chocolate Chip Cookies:
Ingredients:
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1 egg
3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
handfuls of craisins (or dried cranberries) and white chocolate chips (your desired amount)
Yields: 2 dozen small-medium drop cookies or 1 dozen large cookies
Directions:
Heat oven to 375. Cream butter and sugar, then add egg and mix well. In another bowl, add all the dry ingredients except craisins and chocolate and mix. In small portions, add the dry mixture to the butter mixture and stir well. Fold in craisins and chocolate chips. Drop by spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet. The rise up, not out, so if you want more of a cookie shape, flatted with fork. Bake for 10 minutes.
Enjoy, and Shine on!
Yum! I have a similar recipe for these cookies and they are soo good. :-) Great idea! I love baking; I just wish I had someone to feed the baked goods to because goodness knows my butt doesn't need me to eat them!
ReplyDeletelol! Yeah, I'm the same way in that department. I typically let my kids go to town and then share with neighbors. Cakes and stuff, they'd go bad before I finished them. But cookies? A whole other story. They're devious little suckers. Being small makes you think "oh, just one more won't hurt." Hah!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cookie! The combination of ingredients looks amazing. Thanks for the recipe, ChristaCarol. Have a great weekend.
