Friday's Feeding the Muse

View Image
Good morning/afternoon/evening (depending on when you're reading this)!

I'm back with a new, yummy treat to feed your muse with. It's a drink this time. If you like coffee, peanut butter, chocolate, and bananas, you're going to like this! If not, well then, you should try it anyway! It's delicious.

My neighbor friend actually sent me a recipe similar to this that I then changed into what I enjoyed best. So feel free to do the same and mess with the ingredients to fit your taste.

The Muse's Frappuccino
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 1/2 c cold coffee (can be stored in the fridge for a few days and still taste fresh)
  • 2 tbs of cocoa or chocolate syrup
  • 1 tbs peanut butter
  • 1 banana
  • flax seed if you're wanting to be extra healthy
  • ice

Add it all to the blender and hit blend! Add more coffee/milk to get your desired consistency. Me? I'd be adding more coffee :-P

Throw in a straw and enjoy!

  6. Oh, yum! I used to make something like this, but never with coffee. That sounds good! And if you want to pretend it's even healthier, you can throw in some chocolate-flavored protein powder.

  8. Ink, that's what I do for hubs! 1 scoop of protein powder instead of chocolate. He loves it.

Tamika, you can always nix the coffee, I bet it still tastes great.
